Visas

Visa is required for U.S. citizens traveling to Gambia. Visa applicatons are processed Embassy of the Gambia in Washington D.C. Tourist visas cost US$45 for stays up to 1 year.

Vaccinations

Yellow Fever vaccinations is required for entry into Gambia. Malaria medication is also strongly recommended. We recommended that you ask your physician about precautionary medication/vaccinations for Thyphoid, Polio, Malaria and other diseases that are present in this region of the world.

Voltage

220 volts AC, 50Hz. Plugs are either round three-pin or square three-pin (15 or 13 amps).
